How the Winter Escape works
- Part 1 — Winter Cruise: Depart from Lucerne aboard your private boat and cruise through Lake Lucerne's winter scenery towards Beckenried.
- Part 2 — Klewenalp: When the cable car is operating and conditions allow, step ashore in Beckenried and ascend to Klewenalp for Alpine views, photos and the chance to experience the snow.
- Part 3 — Fondue on the Lake: Return to your heated private boat and enjoy a traditional Swiss cheese fondue with fresh bread and a bottle of selected Swiss Staatsschreiber white wine as the journey continues.
Winter Route Information
Klewenalp When Conditions Allow
The Klewenalp mountain experience is subject to cable-car operation, weather and snow conditions.
During the Klewenalp revision period from November 2 to December 18, 2026, cable-car operation is scheduled for weekends only.
Scenic Alternative
When Klewenalp is unavailable, your Winter Escape continues as an extended scenic cruise towards historic Rütli and Lake Uri. The full 4-hour private experience, Swiss fondue and selected Staatsschreiber wine remain included.

How the journey works
- Part 1 — The Grand Journey: Depart from Lucerne and enjoy approximately 2.5 hours aboard your private boat as we travel one-way across Lake Lucerne towards Seedorf.
- Part 2 — Behind the Scenes: On arrival in Seedorf, allow approximately 30 minutes while your captain safely lifts and secures the boat on its AirBerth. You are welcome to watch the process or relax comfortably in your private return vehicle.
- Part 3 — Private Return: Sit back and relax during your complimentary private return to Lucerne in an electric Audi quattro, approximately 40–50 minutes depending on traffic.

Once we reach Seedorf, there is no need to retrace the journey by boat. Your complimentary private return to Lucerne is already taken care of.
A Swiss Wine Along the Way
A bottle of selected Swiss Staatsschreiber wine is included and served once the journey reaches an authorised service area in Nidwalden, Schwyz or Uri. Enjoy it chilled with water, ice and glassware as the journey continues towards the spectacular scenery of Lake Uri.

Are children welcome on board?
Please specify the number of children and ages during your reservation so that we can plan accordingly.
Can I bring my own drinks and food?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks on board. To keep the boat comfortable and clean for all guests, we kindly ask you to avoid red wine, strongly coloured drinks, crisps, greasy snacks or any products that may stain the seats or interior.
Note: there is no full refrigeration system on board, and the responsibility for external food and beverages rests with the guest.
Weather policy (rain, storms)
In case of unsafe or stormy conditions, the experience will be cancelled at no cost to both parties.
If an unforeseen weather event forces the experience to end prematurely, only the part already completed will be charged.
Our boat is designed to operate safely and comfortably in most weather conditions, including light rain.
Cancellation and rescheduling policy
To ensure smooth operation and fair planning:
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to departure are free of charge.
- Rescheduling is possible up to 48 hours prior to departure; subsequent changes are charged at 100%.
- Cancellations must be communicated in writing via WhatsApp or email to be considered valid.
Are your boats licensed for commercial use?
Yes, our vessel is fully compliant with Swiss maritime regulations and is officially registered for
commercial passenger operations on Lake Lucerne.
The boat is registered as a commercial passenger vessel under Swiss registration
